Homogeneous microwave distribution

A pyramid-shaped rotating diffuser evenly distributes the microwaves in the cavity. This unique design ensures optimal microwave distribution, preventing localized hot and cold spots.

Highest safety through unique * pressure responsive door

In our continuing commitment to makin the world’s safest laboratory microwave systems Milestone has further improved the safety of the ETHOS 1 system, featuring a door with an innovative opening and self resealing mechanism. The door is mounted on spring-loaded steel bars. In case of
sudden over-pressurization of the cavity, the door opens slightly for immediate and safe release of the overpressure. Microwave power is instantaneously cut off. Immediately afterward, the door is pulled
back by the springs, resealing the cavity.

Convenient, user-centric design

The ETHOS 1 is the only microwave system allowing the user to select microwave emission in a pulsed or unpulsed mode, to safely control even the most exothermic reactions.

Choice of pulsed or unpulsed microwave emission

Rigaku NANOPIX SAXS/WAXS measurement system is configured with a high-brilliance, high-power point focus X-ray source, the OptiSAXS high-performance multilayer mirror, the Clear Pinhole high-performance, low scattering pinhole slits, and the HyPix-3000 high-performance 2D semiconductor detector that enables detecting diffraction and scattering even from anisotropic materials. Optionally, the HyPix-6000 detector is also available for wide angle measurements, offering an expanded detection area by combining two detection modules.

SAXS/WAXS with broad experimental range

NANOPIX enables measurements under various temperature or humidity conditions, experiments with simultaneous DSC (differential scanning calorimetry) measurements, as well as measurements in combination with special attachments or other external devices.
