Create images of samples that go beyond the typical depth of field or field of vision in a hurry. The fine focus adjustment is used by the instant extended focus image (EFI) function to merge multiple photos captured at different Z-levels to create a single composite image that is totally in focus. With Instant Multiple Image Alignment (MIA), creating panoramic photos is as simple as shifting the XY stage; a motorised stage is no longer required.
